Fender Contemporary Jazz Bass Special 1985 Black "C Serial" Made in Japan MIJ w/ Strap, Bag

Super cool and quite rare bass from Fender Japan! This is C serial model, made between 1985 and 1986, which is quite early, and in a nice spot for Japanese Fender production.

Overall in great shape, especially for its age! The D string tuner is missing the circular back plate as pictured (cosmetic only) but is otherwise all original! Frets are used, but in nice shape and play great. Finish shows some wear such as scratches, scuffs, light discoloration and other normal wear for a vintage instrument. 

Includes the pictured gig bag, and period correct Fender strap.
