1960's Fender Coronado II Wildwood IV with original GOLD HARDARE! Judging by its appointments, it probably dates to late 1967 or early 1968. The gold neck plate has an "L" serial number which dates to 1964, but the guitar was obviously made later than '64. This guitar was some kind of prototype, one-off NAMM show guitar, or a custom order by someone with a lot of pull at Fender. There's no neck date, or "Coronado II" decal as this was not from the normal production line. The "Wildwood IV" decal is on the body where the usual models have the Wildwood name embossed on the pick guard. The vibrato is also unique to this guitar as it is variation of the usual vibrato from the Coronado guitars, but with a solid finished wood block on top. The pickups, wiring, and knobs are all DeArmond made. The color and pattern in this Wildwood IV is amazing. It has a great playing neck with great frets. It's all original and 100% complete including its original hardshell case (missing handle). There's an extra screw hole underneath the pick guard, and another extra screw hole on the face of the headstock from an additional string tree. This rare Coronado is in EXCELLENT condition with some minor cosmetic wear. Everything remains structurally sound with no cracks, breaks, or repairs.

If paying with a credit card please call us with your payment information at 618-201-5848 and we can usually ship the guitar out the same day.
Our guitars are usually packed the same business day that we receive payment. We take the utmost care when packing our guitars and basses to assure that they arrive safely. We detune all guitars so that there is no tension on the neck, then the guitar is packed inside the case so that it does not move during shipment. After the guitar is safely packaged inside the case we wrap the case with several layers of half-inch tall bubble wrap. After the guitar is wrapped it is placed into one of our custom-made double-walled cardboard boxes of the appropriate size. We then use packing peanuts or packing paper to fill any negative space in the box so that the guitar is secured with several inches of padding and does not move around. This way, even if the guitar is mishandled during shipment, it will arrive safe and sound. Our guitars are usually shipped the same business day that we receive payment. Most of our guitars are shipped UPS, and items are always fully insured. If you would like a guitar shipped with FedEx or USPS, please let us know and we can accommodate your needs. Because of insurance the price of shipping will vary, so please email us for an exact shipping quote. Shipping for most guitars will be around $50.
If you feel that we have misrepresented anything, please contact us within 48 hours, and ship the guitar back to us. After we receive the guitar and it is in the same condition as when it was sold, we will give you a full refund minus the shipping charges.
