DESCRIPTION
For your consideration a 1967 Fender Coronado XII in a sunburst finish. Fender launched their Coronado model in 1965 in an attempt to capitalize on the growing popularity of hollow body electrics due to The Beatles using the Epiphone Casino. Designed by Roger Rossmeisl who famously design countless Rickenbackers as well as the Fender Telecaster Thinline! Two years later Fender launched the Coronado XII, a 12 string electric!

Specs! This guitar is all original and in very good condition. Original F-Stamp tuners. Nut width measures 1-5/8″. Maple neck with a depth of .89″ at the first fret and .90″ at the twelfth fret. Rosewood fingerboard. It has a 25.5″ scale length. Action measures 5/64″ straight across. The original 21 small frets are in very good condition. Laminate maple body finished in sunburst. Original two DeArmond single coil pickups. Original wiring. Jaguar style bridge with ebony base. Trapeze “F” tail piece. Comes with a newer hard shell case. Weighs 6 pounds and 8 ounces.

If your on the hunt for a cool electric 12 string, its gonna be hard to beat this vintage Fender! Killer action! The vintage DeArmonds really allow the top sparkle to shine. Great feeling vintage neck. Nice light weight. Extremely cool vintage Fender!
