Description

This guitar is a 2004 Fender Custom Goldleaf Clapton Stratocaster. It is a Masterbuilt Todd Krause guitar. Todd Krause is Eric Claptons personal guitar builder at Fender. This is reported to be one of only 50 of the original run by Todd Krause that has Claptons signature on the back of the headstock. This guitar is unplayed with no fret wear and no dings, dents or scratches that I could find. It does have a very fine and very small lacquer only stress crack on the bass side of the neck pocket. The guitar has a killer flamed maple neck with a mild V profile. All protective plastic sheeting is still in place. I don't feel a detente in the middle tone control where the TBX generally is but I can tell you that with the exception of a new battery this guitar is unaltered from the way it left the factory. The truss rod has been adjusted and works properly. This is a fantastic investment grade guitar that could easily be the centerpiece in your collection. Includes unopened accessory pack and Custom Shop Certificate signed by Todd Krause.
