1958 Stratocaster built for the 2011 Tokyo Guitar Show!


Paul Waller is famous for building guitars for Buddy Guy and Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones.
He created this 1958 Stratocaster Relic for the 2011 Tokyo Guitar Show.
It is a reproduction of the 1958 version with a 1-piece maple neck and alder body, which is close to the last period of the 1958 Stratocaster.
The neck is a thick C-shape, but not too thick to fit in the hand.
The PU is equipped with a Fat 50s, which was designed by Abigail Ybarra, who joined Fender in 1956 and continued to wind pickups until 2013.
The sound is thick, but with a good punch, and you can create various sound characters for each position of the PU.
The red and black on the outside of the body have faded to an exquisite three-burst color!
