Fender Custom Shop 2009 1962 Stratocaster Heavy Relic
This is a "1962 Stratocaster Heavy Relic" model with seafoam green and slab laminated rosewood fingerboard.
The body has a heavy relic finish with bold paint peeling and weather checks that replicate the faded color of the body over time, giving it a used vintage look.
The body is ash with a standard early 60s C-shape neck grip, 9.5R fingerboard and medium jumbo type frets for high playability.
The pickups are three original black bobbin models.
The nut has been replaced and the pots have been replaced with '22 CTS.
The frets are not dented, about 80-90% remaining, and the neck and truss rod remain in good playing condition with no problems with operation.
