2018 Custom Shop ’62 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic
This is a "1962 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic" model with a faded Fiesta Red finish, a slightly softer shade of red, with a slab rose fingerboard.
The Journeyman Relic has a subtle, natural-looking finish, with delicate weather check, tiny dents, scorching on the pickguard, and only a small amount of paint peeling only on the sides of the neck grip, giving it a vintage look that has been carefully handled and played over the years.
The neck is finished in a 60 Style Oval C shape, with a modern style 9.5 radius fingerboard and medium jumbo type frets, and the pickups are hand-wound Fat 60s signed "BP".
There is some paint scorching at the base of the head due to the guitar stand, but there is very little sign of use, and the frets left more than 80%. The guitar is in excellent playing condition, with no problems with the neck and the truss rod.
