この1969 Stratocasterは1969年製のストラトキャスターを忠実に再現したモデルで、ラージヘッドや大きめのモダンロゴ(CBSロゴ)とWITH SYNCHRONIZED TREMOLOロゴ、Fの文字が刻み込まれたチューニングキー、メイプルキャップのネック、4点止めのジョイントプレート、スタガードポールピースのピックアップ等の特徴も忠実に再現されています。ピックアップには既に現役を退いたアビゲイル・イバラによるワイアリングのピックアップを搭載しており、シングルピックアップながら太さと艶やかさを感じるヴィンテージサウンド。良質なアルダーボディから紡ぎ出される色気と温かみを感じる中音域にラウンドボード・ローズウッド指板のタイトなサウンドが相まって、バランスが良く使えるサウンドのストラトキャスター。「やっぱロックには69だね」とおじさんの定番ネタも味になるモデルです。
