If you are a Tele lover and always looking for a special example, check this guitar out. Offered is this marvelous Custom Shop 50's Thinline Telecaster in Vintage Blonde lacquer over premium Ash and built in 2008. Pick this aged beauty up and you know after just a few notes that it is special. It's light of course, weighing just 6.4 pounds! It is more than it's light weight, however. This baby is more lively than your typical Telecaster and it plays with amazing ease. The tone is classic Tele "spank" with a touch of additional woodiness. The custom neck on this guitar is a U-shape measuring .910" at the first fret, .980" at the twelfth and it feels great in your hands. It has a modern 9.5" radius, a 1.650" bone nut and medium/jumbo frets. The pickups include a Twisted Tele single coil in the neck position and a Broadcaster single coil in the bridge and they are voiced perfectly for this guitar. While built as an NOS format (no aging) guitar, the body, while otherwise extremely clean, shows quite a bit of finish checking and a couple of tiny impressions around the bottom edge. The result is a guitar which looks more 'Closet Classic' than 'NOS.' Buyers looking for a flawless NOS guitar will likely not be satisfied, but the overall look of this guitar is superb and the frets are in excellent condition. Play this one a bit and it will soon become your number one for the stage, studio or couch. It is that kind of special Tele. It comes in it's original G&G case along with the certificate of authenticity and the accessories shown. Everything went together right with this one. Make this very special Thinline Tele yours and see!
