2003 Fender Custom Shop '60 Custom Telecaster N.O.S (1960 reissue) Sunburst

A beautiful, barely used fourteen-year-old N.O.S “ Custom Telecaster” in very clean condition.

Purchased from the original owner who played it very little. Weighs in at 7.6 lbs. The finish is beautifully colored on this. The strings are low, and it plays great all the way up and down the neck.

Done by Fender in the NOS (New Old Stock) finish, with no nicks and dings, fake checking, or aging. “60 NOS” is stamped in the neck pickup route, and “T3TSB” is hand written in control cavity to indicate it received the three-tone sunburst. These NOS are designed to look like a guitar that was purchased from Fender back in 1960 and never left their case. The “Relic” stamp also appears under the pickguard.

If you are not a fan of the cracked chiseled finish Fender uses on many of their Closet Classic and Relic guitars, the NOS series is the way to go. This guitar is not unplayed, but it is very clean.

This includes all the case candy including certificate & original case.

7.5" Neck Radius with a nicely figured slab neck, frets show no play wear. C shaped neck profile that is not small, while not being overly large. A nice comfortably playing neck. Neck thickness : 1st Fret: .826 7th Fret .894 12th Fret . 940.

The photos show some separation between the shades, but that is the mechanics of the lens, to the naked eye, the colors blend into a gorgeous sunburst.

A wonderful instrument that I purchased for my own personal use...until some other purchases have forced the inevitable reallocation of resources!!
