The L-Series 1964 Strat features an extreme heavy relic aged Olympic White Nitrocellulose lacquer finish, 2 piece alder body, quartersawn maple neck with dark rosewood board, rolled fingerboard edges and 6105 frets on a 9.5” radius.
It’s a great looking guitar, gorgeously aged, and the neck feel is pretty much to die for. The finish is worn clean off the back of the neck, and the mid 60’s oval C carve is about as heavenly as they come.
Three handwound ’69 Strat Relic pickups with staggered poles were spec’d for this one, complete with 5 way switching. The hardware is all mid 60’s spec, and believably aged. The guitar looks the part, feels incredible, and features a really well thought-out mix of vintage and contemporary details. Beyond that, it just sounds incredible.
We’d say it’s in mint condition, but that would just be weird. Call it unused instead. The frets are unworn, and the guitar has never been modified or altered in any way. Set-up is excellent.
With original hardshell case and all case pocket extras
