Description

Fender Custom Shop 70th Anniversary model

The "1954 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic" model was produced to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Stratocaster.

Featuring an offset two-piece ash body, slightly thicker soft V-shape measured from the "July 1954" neck, wide faded two-tone sunburst color with thicker edges, serial-numbered back panel, rounded pickup covers and knobs specific to this era, The guitar has been recreated to the specs of 1954.

The fine weather checks and dents have been elaborately reproduced by the relic treatment, giving it the outstanding look of a vintage guitar in good condition with just the right amount of wear.

The 7.25R- 9.5R compound radius fingerboard and medium vintage type frets are designed for better playability.

The pickups are equipped with hand-wound '54 Single-Coil Strat signed by Abigail Ybarra.

The guitar is in excellent condition with almost no signs of wear, the frets are barely worn and the neck and truss rod are in good condition.
