Description

My oh my! If a one-of-a-kind Telecaster masterpiece suits your fancy, then you have got to check out this fabulous instrument by Master Builder Dennis Galuszka, built for the Winter NAMM show of 2015.

With this guitar Dennis started with the rough specs of a '63 NOS Telecaster and went from there. He picked a nicely figured Ash body and matched it with a AAAAA grade quilt Maple top and a AAAAA grade flame Maple Neck. Despite all the gorgeous and very dense tone woods used, the guitar has a total weight of just 7 pounds, 7 ounces and is superbly balanced. He finished the guitar in a custom shade nitrocellulose lacquer. It has modern specs, including a 9.50" fretboard radius, a 1.650" bone nut and medium/jumbo 6150 frets. The fabulous flame Maple neck was torrefied (roasted) and given a nice medium C shape, with depth measurements of .83" at the first fret increasing to 1.00" at the twefth. He also used flamed Maple for the neck's skunk stripe and the fingerboard inlays. To top things off, Dennis used '67 Tele single coils hand-wound by Josephina Campos to give this work of art the best tone possible.

This Tele really is a work of sonic art. It plays and sounds as beautifully as it is cosmetically. This little diddly below doesn't come close to doing justice to the voice of this beautiful instrument, but check out the brief sound sample. The flame Maple top adds just a touch of clarity and complexity to what is otherwise a classic Tele tone. Josephina-wound pickups are highly regarded for good reason. The this guitar plays magnificently too, as you would expect of the very best that the Fender Custom Shop can produce.

I am told this guitar was purchased by the original owner at the 2015 Winter Namm Show. It has seen little, if any play since it's purchase and remains in near flawless original condition. The only issues I see are a touch of oxidation is starting to show on some of the gold finished hardware. Otherwise this guitar is in mint condition, frets included. It comes in it's original G&G case with both COA's and all the original accessories, including the Cruz tool kit.

I cannot imagine the current retail for a guitar like this, but it is certainly several thousand dollars more than our price. Make this one-of-a-kind work of luthier art yours today. You are sure to be thrilled with this awesome Telecaster!
