Originally debuted in 1961 as a six-string bass, the Fender 2018 Journeyman Relic Bass VI has been a secret weapon in the arsenals of top producers seeking to add depth and sonic glue to their recordings. Beloved by both guitarists and bassists, the Bass VI earned its place in the mix, lending endless inspiration on demand.

Complete with a gently aged Journeyman Relic lacquer finish, this six-string radiates with an aura of a well-beloved asset with patent novelty — showing off a smooth select alder solidbody, colored in a decorative Aged Dakota Red with a tasteful 4-ply Brown Shell pickguard and a set of nickel/chrome hardware. A smooth vintage C-profile maple neck is attached, home to a comfortable and easy-to-play rosewood fingerboard, complete with twenty-one vintage-style frets.

Rip and roar with a thumping and quality bass tone, thanks to a powerful trio of on-board Custom Shop '62 single-coil Jaguar pickups, controlled by a master volume and tone, as well as three mini on/off toggle switches.
