Description

Here is a very cool Fender Custom Shop Tele for your consideration, a limited run '67 reissue finished in Firemist Silver with Closet Classic aging, modern 60's style specs and built in 2005. Other specs for this guitar relatively unique instrument include: a two piece Ash body with nitro lacquer finish and a total guitar weight of 7.0 pounds; a Maple neck with Mid 60's Oval C-shape and depth measurements of .820" at the first fret and .920" at the twelfth fret; a round laminated Rosewood fretboard with 9.5" radius, MOP inlays, a 1.650" nut and medium/jumbo frets; Schaller 60's style tuners; and for electronics, Custom Shop '63 Tele single coils with modern wiring. This guitar looks cool, plays super-easy and sounds terrific with an authentic sounding 60's Tele twang. The Closet Classic treatment on this guitar consists of lots of finish checking and a bit of hardware distressing. The factory aging aside, this guitar doesn't seem to have seem much play time over the years, as the frets are near spotless. It comes with it's original limited edition G&G case, the certificate of authenticity, the build sheet and the unopened accessory bag. You can hear Greg Koch playing one of the guitars from this limited 200 piece run in the video link below. If you have been looking for something special in the way of a great Tele, this may be the guitar for you. Very cool indeed!
