2003 Fender Custom Shop NOS Aqua Green Telecaster Custom

Summary: This Fender Custom Shop NOS Aqua Green Sparkle Telecaster Custom is an absolute stunner. It has a matching aqua sparkle headstock, thick birdseye maple neck and early 60s specs. It is in excellent barely used condition, has just been setup and restrung by our in-house guitar tech with 10s and low action and it ships in its original blonde hardshell case with COA and case candy.

Body: It has a solid alder body with black binding on front and back, aqua sparkle finish and NOS lacquer.

Neck: The birdseye maple neck has a thick U shape, matching headstock, 7.25” radius, 1.645” nut width, 25.5” scale length, 1st fret neck thickness of 0.960” and a 12th fret neck thickness of 0.985”.

Pickups/Hardware: It has Custom Shop '63 Tele pickups, staggered pole piece bridge pickup, 3 way toggle, volume, tone, flat top knurled knobs, threaded steel saddles and vintage style tuners.

Cosmetics: This Tele is in excellent shape save for a ding in the cutaway and a couple small nicks on the edge in the cutaway. There is a small amount of yellowing in the finish in the cutway and bass side contour on the body.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has just inspected, setup and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functioning and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fingerboard with no dead spots or choking out.
