2021 Fender Custom Shop TRG Inspired By ‘69 Custom Telecaster (1969 reissue) Lake Placid Blue

As part of our celebration of being in business for 10 years we teamed up with the Fender Custom Shop to create a batch of instruments that are based on and inspired by some of our absolute favorite vintage Fender guitars we've sold over the decade we've been a store. The outcome is simply fantastic.

This Fender Custom Shop 1969 Custom Telecaster Relic "TRG Inspired By" in Aged Lake Placid Blue is based off a 1969 Fender Custom Telecaster we acquired a few years ago. It has traded hands a few times, all locally here in Portland and now resides with a collector in Japan.

This Telecaster features a double bound alder body that was sorted for lighter weight. Finished in Aged Lake Placid Blue w/ flash coat lacquer finish, Late 60s Telecaster shaped plain Maple neck with flash coat lacquer finish, plain maple fingerboard with black dots and a 9.5” radius, 6105 fret wire, Hand-Wound late 60s Telecaster pickups, modern Telecaster wiring and light relic finish package meant to match the vibe and feel of the original 1969 Custom Telecaster this is based off.
