New Fender Custom Shop W20 LTD '50 Esquire Heavy Relic

Black guard, Aged Nocaster Blonde nitrocellulose lacquer. We ordered this 2 years ago and we are excited to see it. Fender calls it a 1950 Esquire so you get all straight-head screws, a body from selected light ash (7 pounds overall), a bigger neck with “V” profile, 7.25” to 9.5” compound radius and with a medium-vintage fret (a bit bigger). A monster. A great handwound ’50-‘51 Blackguard Relic pickup with “full throttle” Esquire control assembly. A magic guitar. We order Blackguards in Heavy Relic as 80% of our customers prefer their ‘50s Teles and Esquires authentically vintage-looking. It’s new so it has everything from the factory. The guitar has great sustain, punch, great acoustics, and the pickup is something the Custom Shop should be proud of. Plenty of bass thump with a singing sustain yet twang.
