Description

Offered is yet another incredible limited run Stratocaster done for Wildwood Guitars of Colorado. This is a 2009 Custom Shop Dealer Select Wildwood "10" '59 Stratocaster Relic with Brazilian Rosewood fretboard. The specs for this incredible Strat include: an alder body, with a total guitar weight of just 7.2 pounds; a very authentically reliced finish; a quarter sawn, AA flamed maple neck, in this case with a Mid-60's C shape measuring .840" at the 1st fret and .950" at the 12th; a lovely dark Brazilian rosewood fretboard with a 25.5" scale, 10" radius, 1.650" bone nut, clay dot markers and 6105 frets; and for electronics, three (3) John Cruz Limited single coil pickups with VTT and five way switching. You Pick this guitar up and you would swear it's a real vintage Strat. The burst on this guitar is superb, with very little red in the finish. The playability and tone of this guitar, however, are far better than most of the few vintage Strats that I've had the opportunity to play! These guitars are comparable in quality to Master Built guitars and with the Brazilian rosewood fretboard, even more rare. This guitar is in excellent plus condition having seen only limited play and the frets are in superb condition. It comes with it's original G&G case, the certificate of authenticity and most of the original paperwork and accessories. The prices on these Brazilian fretboard Fenders just keep escalating. Get yourself a great Strat and likely a decent investment piece too!
