Description

Looking for a fabulous Telecaster? If so, please check out this amazing "Wildwood 10" '59-style Telecaster Custom in rare Faded Taos Turquoise finish. "Wildwood 10's" are of course named for their flatter freboard radius necks and the popular Colorado-based Fender dealer these guitars are made exclusively for. Next to Master Built instruments, WW 10's are the best Fender Custom Shop guitars currently being built.

The specs for this incredible piece include: a double-bound Alder body with a total guitar weight of just 7.0 pounds; a lightly-aged, Faded Taos Turquoise nitro lacquer finish; a lovely quartersawn Maple neck with a "John English C" shape and depth measurements of .86" at the 1st fret and .98" at the 12th; a gorgeous dark Brazilian Rosewood fretboard with Wildwood's namesake 10" fretboard radius, Sanko 6105 frets and a 1.650" bone nut; and for electronics, a Twisted Tele single coil in the neck position, a Broadcaster single coil in the bridge position, volume, tone and a three-way switch with modern wiring.

This is a GREAT Telecaster! The neck is a nice chunky medium/large C and it feels great. It a very lively guitar with lots of resonance and the tone of the pickups is superb. Check out the brief sound sample provided and I trust you will agree. The playability is fantastic with a nice low setup and no buzzing.

This is a killer looking guitar too. The Faded Taos Turquoise finish is a relatively rare shade and I love it. The guitar looks blue in some lighting, green in others and this finish looks fabulous under stage lighting. The aging done to this guitar is particularly tasteful; lots of very fine finish checking (hard to see in these photos), a few impressions here and there and a bit of arm wear make this Relic job look extremely realistic.

This beautiful instrument has seen only light play since it was built in 2009 and remains in near mint condition the factory aging aside. The frets show no observable wear (see photo). It comes in it's original special edition G&G case which is also in near mint condition and comes with the certificate of authenticity, the build sheet, hang tag and all the original and accessories.

With it's "Wildwood 10" specs, it's Brazilian Rosewood fretboard and it's cool cosmetics, this is one of the best Fender Custom Shop Telecasters that you will find anywhere. Hit the 'Buy Now' button and make it yours. You will be VERY glad you did!
