2004 Fender Custom Tele Special HH Aztec Goldtop
2004 Fender Custom Tele Special Limited Edition Musicians Friend Exclusive in Aztec Gold Top with upgraded Custom DiMarzio Breed Cream Humbuckers . Gorgeous set neck all Mahogany (No Flame Veneer Top) Body and Neck with Rosewood Fingerboard and Oversized Abalone Dot Inlays. I believe these Tele's were limited to only 350 Aztec Gold Top (plus Cherry & Ebony) finishes produced for Musicians Friend in 2004. Guitar is in really nice clean condition with only a few light scratches but no nicks or dings. When I received the guitar the original strings trees were mounted wrong on the headstock pulling the strings over to one side. This was effecting tuning and tone. This has been corrected so there is now a straighter string pull to the tuners after the nut and the original holes have been filled (see headstock photos). Currently setup with 9.5-44 gauge strings it plays beautifully with nice easy low action throughout the entire fingerboard range. The DiMarzio The Breed pickups (designed for Steve Vai) sound killer and are versatile enough to cut pretty much any style of music. The Tone control is the Original Push Pull Coil Tap however I never used it and currently do not have the pickups coil tap wires connected. This can easily be reconnected if desired. There is no case but I do have a mint Fender bass bag shown in the photos that I will include for added shipping protection. Contiguous U.S. 48 State shipping is an additional $70.00.

No returns on International Sales. Buyer may return an instrument for any reason immediately following the 24 hour approval period and must contact GCG immediately for Return Authorization. Instruments must be returned no later than 7 business days after the 24 hour approval period and from the time Return Authorization is issued. Buyer is responsible for all shipping and Insurance Costs. Full refund will be given after Instrument is returned and inspected. Refund will be returned in the same method that the buyer paid for the instrument. In addition to all Shipping costs, there is a 20% restocking fee for any shipments that buyer refused or is returned undeliverable by UPS/Fed Ex or any other Carrier used.
