1980 Fender D'Aquisto Elite Tailpiece Good

We sold over a hundred of the most wonderful Fender D’Aquisto archtop guitars back in the 1980s and were quite saddened when Fender discontinued them. I have here a tailpiece from an Elite model, the best of the three that were made, needing some work. It’s made from genuine ebony, as Jimmy D’Aquisto had specified, and wants restoration in the hinge area. This can be done with careful work; it also needs a hinge pin, which should be easy to find a suitable replacement for. The hinge itself has its original gold-plating. As is for $75
