Description

1951 Fender Deluxe Amp. This fine TV front example was likely produced in very early 1951 during the short "Broadcaster" era. Pots are coded to the 31st and 33rd week of 1950, while the original Jensen speaker is coded 220 105 or the 5th week of 1951.

This amp has the early tone only found in these TV front amps and the Model 26. This particular amp is surprisingly loud as many of these early models can be a bit weak. Speaker cone is in good shape, no tears. Transformers are original. Numerous capacitors have been replaced long ago with high quality US made parts. Pots are original. The amp still has a spliced two prong cord.

It would be prudent for the buyer to install a 3 prong cord, and have the amp fully serviced by a qualified tech.
As this is a nearly 70 year old piece, with ancient tube technology, we offer no warranty, and there is absolutely no returns on tube amps, for any reason. We can say this amp seems to be in good working order as we tested it recently, but it may need to be serviced at any time, including when it is received. The amp ships with a cool, funky, home made vinyl cover, which has served to protect the amp well  during the 36 years that I have owned it.
