1960 Fender Deluxe Tweed, Very Good, $4,200.00

Played but not abused. 98% original tweed Deluxe from 1960. The important stuff is all original-tweed, trannies, speaker (re-coned) and all the caps except for one filter cap. The handle has been replaced with a handmade reproduction. The 5E3 Deluxe is in a class by itself tone wise. Nothing else sounds like one. They don't have a lot of headroom but the breakup is sweet and musical (and early). There is no better amp for rock and roll if you're playing smaller venues or you mike your amps through the PA. You won't get blackface Fender cleans, so if surf is your thing, don't buy a tweed Deluxe. But if it's dirt you crave, then this is your amp. There is a small plugged hole in the back panel-see photo. Otherwise, this is a no issue amp.
