1960 Fender Deluxe Tweed
April 1960 tube chart code. Yes, this is the revered 5E3 tweed Deluxe. Just the right amount of whoop and patina on the tweed covering, NOT all furry like a cat got to it.
Needed a little TLC when we got it though. Freshly serviced, it has a new speaker recone on the original Jensen (dated 43rd week of '59). The rectifier tube is original RCA and new, fresh 6V6 power tubes are JJ's. Also has an GE preamp tube are still installed. Back panel is recovered by Vintage Amp Restoration and matches the rest of the amp perfectly.
Original Trannies Triad power and Schumacher output dated 10th week of '60.
This amp sounds terrific like all of these do. Get one at a great price!
