Back in the day, when Fender was covering all the bases, they had a line of 5-string banjos and this was the one. Done in the original 1930s Gibson Mastertone style, it is complete with flat-head tone ring, dual co-ordinatior rods, geared planetary tuning pegs, fancy fingerboard inlay, the works.The person who bought this banjo from us new back then never did quite figure out just which end he was supposed to blow into, and has finally admitted that banjo is just not, well, his instrument.
