1957 Fender® Deluxe - needs retweed Price Reduced!!, Very Good, $1,900.00
Price Reduced!!!! This is a great restoration project. Grill cloth is in great shape, give it a retweed and it’s ready to go. Era correct leather handle is black instead of brown, but it is solid.
I will include some sozo blue caps that can be switched out with the sprauge orange drops that are in the amp.
Replaced cord, speaker dates to 1960. Missing the cord tie down. Label in great shape, number 38 inside cabinet in blue grease pen, masking tape on chassis is illegible.
304648 code dates pots to 48th week of 1956. # 6452 white stamp on power transformer inside the chassis, no codes on the output transformer.
Chrome control plate shows some wear & corrosion and slight pitting. Amp is from a dryer climate, so it’s not a rust bucket.
One split to the wood at the chassis bolt that can be reglued before the tweed goes on again.
