1956 Fender Duo-Sonic Desert Sand, Very Good, Original Hard, $3,199.00

Oh yeah! First year Duo-Sonic. Desert sand. Gold guard. This little beauty has been well played with fingerboard wear in all the right places. With a 22.5 inch scale, maple fingerboard, and a soft-V neck profile, it just feels great in the hand.

Good to very good vintage condition with playing wear, chips, and scratches, but nothing unsightly, just good honest wear. Replaced nut. Tone capacitor replaced. Correct style frets but possibly has been refretted at some point. Tuners were replaced with vintage style Klusons. Comes with its original red Bulwin hardshell case.

This Duo-Sonic is really something special. There’s nothing we like more than to find a great vintage guitar that has spent its life on stage, not in the closet or under the bed. This is a great collector’s guitar that we hope will also continue to be used as the guitar gods and Leo Fender intended—making music!
