Description

Pre-CBS 1963 Fender Duo-Sonic in its original Transparent Cherry finish over Mahogany body! In the early 1960s Fender starting experimenting with bodies made from Mahogany instead of Ash or Alder. This model came with a factory Transparent Cherry finish to show off some of the grain. All Pre-CBS features! Brazilian rosewood veneer fingerboard, clay dots, small headstock and spaghetti logo. Like most of the other mahogany bodied Fender’s with this finish, it has flaked off all over. Replaced tuners, but all original otherwise. Overall in good well played condition less the finish flaking, play wear. One small chip in the wood next to one of the tuner holes, but no other cracks breaks or repairs. Comes complete with its original hard shell case.
