Fender's offset, short-scale guitars are back! The Fender Duo Sonic - Torino Red has some updated features with all the original mojo that made these guitars at home in the dingy clubs of New York. The downsized body lends itself to smaller players, or anyone who enjoys giving energetic performances with a light, small, and funky guitar. The updates to this guitar really lie in the playability of the very comfortable the neck. While the original release in 1956 was meant to be a budget, ""student"" model, this guitar has a super sophisticated feel to its playability. The 9.5۝-radius maple fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets will have any player nailing those multi-step bends with the 24۝ scale slinkiness to help facilitate. The chime in the Duo-Sonic specific single coil pickups make a sound that is meant to cut through the mix with help from the increased sustain on account of the through-body hardtail bridge. The new Duo Sonic series from Fender continues their trend of killer offset guitars including the revamped Mustang. Comes with a free setup to your specs from our team of luthiers.
