Clean, clean, clean. For your consideration a 1966 Fender Electric XII in sunburst! This early 12 string is as clean an example as we’ve seen. Just about every guitar hero played one of these at some point, either in the studio or on stage. Originally designed with folk musicians in mind it seems rockers just couldn’t keep away. Known for its funky head stock, unique body (similar to a Jaguar/Jazzmaster) and split pick ups with 4 way switch (Neck, Bridge, Neck & Bridge in series and Neck & Bridge in parallel).

The Fender Electric XII is a great way to get some awesome textures on a recordings. Lots of versatility with the 4 way switch. Tons of chime.
