Just about every guitar hero played one of these at some point, either in the studio or on stage. Originally designed with folk musicians in mind it seems rockers just couldn’t keep away. Known for its funky head stock, unique body (similar to a Jaguar/Jazzmaster) and split pick ups with 4 way switch (Neck, Bridge, Neck & Bridge in series and Neck & Bridge in parallel).
Specs! Original 12 Fender tuners with F stamp. Nut width measures 1-5/8″. Maple neck with a depth of .82″ at the first fret and .91″ at the 12th fret. 25.5″ scale length. The Fender Electric XII is a great way to get some awesome textures on a recordings. Lots of versatility with the 4 way switch. Tons of chime. Super rad instrument for rhythm or back up leads for a psych rock band. This super clean guitar would make a great addition to any Fender collection.
