Here's a super clean Fender Elite II Bass from 1983!
What a bass! First, the neck is outstanding. It has a medium feel, and plays smooth and fast with low action and no buzz. It's got some serious snap & pop when played un-plugged. The frets are in great shape as well!
The tones you can get from the bass are incredible. The Elite II has two split humbucking pickups with an active preamp and a normal (passive) tone control. The controls on the bridge pickup include two volume knobs, a tone knob, and two three-way mini toggle switches; a pickup selector, and a "tone assign" switch. You can dial in fat low end tones like a great traditional P-Bass, but also smooth single coil tones like a great J-Bass. The bass also features a high-mass chrome Schaller bridge with fine tuners, that gives it great sustain. Nothing but tones in this beauty! The original case and hang tags are included!
