For your consideration a 2020 Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster in black! Its 2020, 65 years since the inception of the Stratocaster in 1954, and they are still as popular as ever! At this point Eric Clapton has been on tour for almost as long as the Strats been around, he joined The Yardbirds in 1963! It will come as no surprise that his Artist Series Strat is a culmination of both vintage and modern aspects, tailored to fit his particular playing like a glove. Vintage style Soft “V” neck meet noise canceling pick up!

Specs! This guitar is all original, comes with its original tweed hard shell case as well as paper work and is in Mint condition! Nickel Vintage style tuners. Corian nut with a width of 1-11/16″. One piece maple neck with a depth of .83″ at the first fret and .89″ at the twelfth fret (Soft V). Maple fingerboard with a 9.5″ radius. 25.5″ scale length. Action measures 5/64″ straight across. The original 22 medium frets are in like new condition. Alder body finished in a black polyurethane. Original Fender Noiseless pick ups with original wired TBX tone & MDX boost circuit. Vintage style vibrato comes factory blocked (just like Eric Clapton’s Strat, the Trem does not work). Weighs 8 pounds and 1 ounce.

Whether or not your a fan of Eric Clapton, the man knows guitars! After decades of touring he’s defiantly been through the gauntlet, so as you can image his signature Strat has all the classic features that work as well as modern innovations that resolved any issues he had! The soft V neck is fantastic and really give this guitar a vintage vibe. Comfortable and still fast. Fender noiseless pick ups are a must for anyone playing loud. The blocked tail piece help keep the guitar in tune. The TBX tone control is extremely cool, detent at the center (5) it functions normally from 0-5 but past 5 you get added brightness and presences. The second tone knob has a MDX active boost that boost mids and bass while decreasing treble. Awesome for getting a vocal like solo sound. Great weight. Phenomenal Stratocaster with a great balance of vintage and modern.
