Description

If you’re someone who loves a Blackguard with some patina and battle scars, look no further than this fully original 1952 Fender Esquire! This particular guitar must’ve been someone’s workhorse and is certainly no stranger to a smokey bar gig. The original Blond finish has taken on a beautiful golden hue, and the fine weather checking throughout contrasts beautifully against the smokey finish. The full neck profile fills the hand for a super comfortable feel, and these original frets aren’t going to need changing soon. This single pickup delivers that Fender quack, and also sounds remarkably full when some overdrive is added. This guitar features a mix of slot and phillips head screws which is typical to see on blackguard of this time. This one also comes in its original brown leather Fender gig bag!

Overall Condition: 7, patina, weather checking, and edgewear throughout
