Description

Pretty clean and a great player. This 52 black guard Esquire still has its original finish and most of its parts. Original tuners, pickup, bridge, knobs, black guard and control plate. Ashtray looks like 60's. The 250K pots appear to be from the 70's and the capacitors appear to have been changed. This is pretty typical in Esquires, although no matter what you do to the caps, the "rhythm" position is still pretty worthless. But the bypass the tone control-straight to the jack position is like nothing else. Not even a Telecaster does this. "TG" initialed neck and body. A screaming steamroller of a guitar. Mid 50's tweed case.
