Description

A wonderfully rare and original 1957 Fender Esquire in Sunburst! The vast majority of ash Esquires from that era were finished in Blond, but a small batch of Esquires were finished with a two-tone sunburst. The Esquires in Sunburst were quickly discontinued that year, making this guitar a great, clean example from that very rare batch! The neck is in fantastic condition, with a nice full neck carve, and very minimal fret wear. The singular pickup really captures the resonate and powerful tone of the guitar, with a 5.79K output.

It weighs in at 7 lbs and comes with original Fender tweed case.

If you have any questions, please give us a call at 516-221-0563. We'd be happy to give you an in-hand description of the guitar. All of our guitars are properly set up by John Bertsche, our brilliant guitar tech, and will be professionally packed with care.
