Description

This is a very cool Fender Esquire, made in the USA in 1961. Slab rosewood board. At one point the body was pained black, over the original finish, and subsequently the black was removed. Although this revealed the original blond finish, the removal of the black paint did cause some noticeable damage to the original finish, which can be seen in the pictures. The first four frets have been replaced but match almost identical. Aside from that, this guitar is all original. The finish on the neck is original. The guitar weighs just under 7 pounds and is a joy to play. It comes with a non original case.
