But these pickups have a little something extra that sets the American Special Tele apart from previous Tele incarnations: Fender's way-cool Greasebucket tone circuit! If you're looking for an American-made Tele with unbeatable bang for the buck, then you need the American Special Telecaster. Fender has fitted the American Special Telecaster with their proprietary Greasebucket tone control. With this system you're able to take the bite off of single-coils or get the "Woman Tone" without making your sound too muddy. The Greasebucket is designed to evenly rolls off highs without adding bass or affecting your volume. It gives you explicit control over your tone onstage without your having to compensate for a less-than-ideal sound. This guitar is in excellent condition and weighs in at 7 lbs. 10 oz. Comes with gigbag.
