2003 Fender Fender Special Edition FMT HH Transparent Crimson Red

Summary: This Fender FMT Telecaster was made in 2003 and it has been kept in great shape by the original owner. This Tele looks incredible with a beautiful transparent Crimson Red flame maple top with cream binding. With a set neck & 2 humbucker pickups this is definitely not your average Telecaster. This one ships with a gig bag & it has just been set up with a fresh set of 10's by our in-house luthier.

Body: Mahogany body with a arched flame maple top, cream binding, classic Telecaster shape with a single cutaway.

Neck: Mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard, big beautiful abalone dot inlays, 22 jumbo frets, 25.5” scale length, 1 5/8” nut width, classic “C” shape.

Pickups/Hardware: Black chrome hardware, Fender Chrome logo, 2 humbucker pickups, 1 volume, 1 push/pull tone, 3-way toggle switch, closed back Fender tuning keys.

Cosmetics: This instrument is in great used condition with light signs of wear from play over the past 20 years. There are lots of pick scratches on the top & a few light scratches on the back of the guitar, but the finish hides a lot of the wear and you can only see it in certain light. There is a small chip on the headstock under the “F” in the logo.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has just inspected, setup and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functioning and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The jumbo frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fingerboard with no dead spots or choking out.
