1978 Fender Hardtail Stratocaster Mocha

Up for sale is a RAD and lightweight 1979 Fender Hardtail Stratocaster in its original Mocha finish. I’ve always loved the 1970s era Mocha Stratocasters and for some reason they are always the lightest and most resonant. This example is in good shape overall and sound great. The guitar was professionally refretted at some point with larger fret-wire and at the same time the Maple fingerboard was refinished re-radiused from 7.25 to 9.5 to maximize playability. Pickups, pots, wiring and switch are all original and overall this Strat is a joy to play. Weighing in at 7 pounds 10 ounces. Pro setup in house and comes complete with its original hard case.
