Description

Here's a 1965 Fender Jaguar in rare, original black finish with matching headstock! Such an amazing guitar! Pre-CBS Jaguar with L serial number, clay dots, '64 pots, and a neck date of January '65. Without a doubt one of the best playing and sounding Jaguars we've ever come across. Low action up the entire neck with wonderful string tension. You can strum aggressively and the strings never move off the saddles like a lot of these do. Original frets are in good shape as well. The pickups are full and glassy, with beautiful clarity. Trem is smooth and stays in tune. Everything on the guitar is original. At one point it had other tuners, which left slightly larger holes, but the originals are back on. OHSC!
