Description

This 1965 Fender Jaguar comes in its vibrant, original Candy Apple finish. This guitar was made in CBS’ first full month of ownership, as it still sports some pre-CBS appointments like these beautifully aged clay dots! The old owner of this guitar certainly put some miles on it, as evidenced by the light wear to the back of the neck and throughout the guitar. Still, most of the finish is in great shape, with minor touch-ups throughout the body that match this original finish well. There are very few touch-up spots on the front of the body; they are mostly clustered around the edges of the guitar, the buckle rash, and the headstock edges. These spots are mainly visible under a blacklight but should be noted nonetheless. This particular guitar plays great, with slinky action up and down the neck and a great tone, thanks to these balanced pickups and the Jaguar’s factory wiring. In summary, this guitar is a fantastic piece for its collectability, sound, and playability!

Overall Condition: 8, light wear, checking, and touch-ups throughout
