1965 Fender Jaguar. This is an all original Custom Color Olympic White guitar, in pristine original condition. As an early '65, this guitar still has the Kluson Double Line Tuners, and unbound neck, vs. the bound neck and Fender "F" Tuners featured on later '65 Jags. Truly a collector level guitar, complete, with no flaws. One of the nicest custom color Fender guitars to ever pass through our shop.
The original Olympic White finish is in excellent condition, with a few normal chips and dings, and normal yellowing of the clear coat. The neck finish is pristine, with some light wear on the back of the neck where the finish is worn thinner, but not worn through. Frets and fingerboard are in excellent condition.
The original mute is installed, and the foam has been replaced, the only non original part on the guitar. The original trem bar is included, as is the original bridge cover.
To be clear, this guitar features 100% original finish, hardware including all screws, plastic, electronics, and case.
The serial number is L64XXX. Neck date is MAR 65. Pots are coded 304 6508. The guitar weighs 8.4 lbs. Neck is a nice medium C shape measuring .803" at 1st fret, and .970" at 12th fret. Original pickups measure 6.9K Ohms at neck and 6.0K Ohms at bridge.
The guitar ships in its original black Tolex "No Logo" case. The case is in pristine condition.
