This model was made in 1982, the first year of Fender Japan, and is one of the rarest and most valuable.
The JB62-115, the top-of-the-line model at that time, has an alder body, maple neck, slab-applied rosewood fingerboard, 2Vol, 2Tone stacked knobs, and is equipped with USA pickups and a lacquer finish.
Compared to Femder USA's American Vintage Series '62 model, it is more dynamic and has a wider range of sound.
The neck is thin, so playing comfort may vary, but its versatile sound shows why it is so popular these days, and not just because of its brand name or rarity.
