Rare first year Fender Japan JV serial TL-52 95 Telecaster in butterscotch finish. Built by famed Fujigen Gakki and is one of the most faithful reproductions of the original 50’s telecasters ever done, the results of which famously made the Fender USA execs cry when the first examples arrived from Japan. Excellent condition, and all original save for “Made in Japan” decal having been scratched off headstock. One-piece ash body, maple neck and fretboard, thin nitrocellulose finish, USA Pickups and electronics and period correct slotted screw hardware. Straight, comfortable, medium C neck profile with low action and little fret wear. Body and neck have some dings, scratches, buckle rash but nothing you would expect from a 40 year-old instrument.
