Neck date November 1965.
Round laminate fingerboard with beautiful bark, pearl dot & non-binding.
It has been refretted/re-nutted and currently adjusted to about 2.5mm on the 4th string side and 2.2mm on the 1st string side.
The vintage playability is unquestionable, with no noticeable sound clogging.
The truss rod has more than enough room.

The overall paint has been repainted, including over-lacquer.
The back of the neck has a unique engraving.
The metallic color has a unique texture because the work was done at the FENDER factory, and the glossy and deep metallic color is different from existing products and refinishes, and has a heart-stirring appeal.
There are also some repair marks on the screw holes where the pegs seem to have been replaced, but they have been fixed beautifully and are hidden, so they are not of particular concern.

The paint on the body is in good condition, and the contrast between the moderately faded areas and the reddish areas is very beautiful.

The aforementioned factory riff engraving also suggests that the original color may have been further painted over to remove scratches, etc.,.
In any case, it is believed that the work was done by the FENDER factory in the original color, which does not detract from the value of the piece.

The pots are all from the 18 weeks of 1965, and the capacitors are Red Dime .02μF.
The pickups are gray bobbins, with no visible date, but they do respond to a black light.
