Description

Can you even believe it?! We are in awe of this insanely rare 1965 Fender Jazz Bass in Sunburst with a factory maple cap fretboard! Throughout all of our collective years in this business, this is the only factory maple cap we have ever seen on a Jazz Bass this early, especially considering that the neck is a late 64. On top of that, the neck and fretboard are highly figured! It’s in fantastic condition, retaining all of its original components and even its original hardshell case. This bass is an incredible player no matter where your hands are on this beautiful neck! Its two strong pickups provide a meaty tone and give you lots of versatility, with their outputs being nearly identical readings. Talk about balance!

Overall Condition: 8.5, light playwear throughout, some light marks here and there, weather checking throughout, two added small holes under the bridge cover where it was incorrectly placed in the past
