Description

Another cool one just acquired its a pretty clean & very original 1969/71 Fender Jazz Bass w/all the right features, its has its original Black finish over a nice Alder body w/a very rare matching Black Headstock that says only “Fender” as it should, its White Bound & Block inlaid 4-bolt Rosewood Neck is pretty clean w/a perfect logo & frets, there’s a neck date stamp on its neck that is from 1969 & she has pot date codes from the 16th week of 1971, its original White’gard pulls this all together making it one of Fender’s rarest & greatest Jazzes, its 2 pickups are super smooth w/that quintessential “Jazz Bass” sound ! Its so cool & original from its tuners to its bridge, its all original in all respects w/every single screw from new, it has a cool worn in played patina for a 55 year old original, it plays & feels incredible, its medium weight having killer sustain & tone qualities, she’s a very good example w/a some weather checks, some rusty parts & a few pings & dings & comes w/it original black Tolex Hard Case.
