Description

9 lbs. 4 oz.

Most 60's instruments escaped the 70's unscathed. Some didn't. This is one of those.

1969 Jazz bass. Stripped and hippie stained. Undetermined what the original color was. Routed and Gibson Neck pickup installed.

Was someone trying to make an Allman Bros. Barry Oakley tractor bass out of this?? Who knows.

Everything else original to the bass including bridge pickup, guard, control plate, knobs, electronics (pots date 31st week of '66 typical of '69.) Neck dates May '69. A width.

The neck feels and plays great. The big Gibson neck pickup actually adds a huge round sound to it.

With OHSC.
