1972 Fender Jazz Bass Sunburst

This Fender Jazz Bass was made in the USA in 1972. It is a bit unusual with an original Sunburst finish on an Ash body (sunburst is usually on alder). The neck pocket has a factory "Natural" stamp that was crossed out. We speculate that the body had an unattractive grain or other blemish that made in unsuitable for a natural finish so it was finished sunburst instead. The bass has all original parts and is in very good playing condition. There is heavy play wear including finish checking and some finish has chipped off. There is no structural damage and the bass plays really nicely.. It comes with a non original hard case.

Guitars are shipped by Fedex ground unless other arrangements are made. Guitars are usually shipped within 24 hours of purchase.

We offer a 48 hour no questions asked return policy. If you don't like it, just send it back and we will issue a refund. We do not refund shipping charges and if you pay with a credit card there is a 5% restocking fee. If you pay with cash, check, paypal, or bank wire there is no restocking fee.
